Adoptable Cat of the Week: Chester is Ready to Complete Your Home

This week's adoptable pet is Chester, a georgeous black and white domestic short hair.

Chester, a one year old neutered male, is friendly and playful.  He has been with Manatee County Animal Services since Dec. 7, when he was found as a stray. You can visit Chester at the county's downtown adoption center next week or at the Palmetto adoption center for Animal Services. The downtown center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Palmetto location is open weekdays and also on Saturdays. The downtown center will get new hours later this month to include Saturdays.

Manatee County Animal Services is offering a $30 adoption fee for dogs through the end of March. Cats are always available at 2-for 1 prices. Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health check, microchip and current rabies certificate/tag. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
