Adoptable Cat of the Week: Dexter is Elegant
He's just one of the animals available for adoption at the downtown adoption center.
This week's adoptable cat is Dexter, a brown and white medium-haired tiger.
The 3-year-old neutered male is elegant and laid back. He has been with Manatee County Animal Services since Feb. 23 when he was found in the 4200 block of 79th Street West. You can visit Dexter at the county's downtown adoption center this week. The downtown center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Manatee County Animal Services is offering a $20 adoption special on all cats through May for Educator Appreciation Month. Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health check, microchip and current rabies certificate/tag. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
