Adoptable Dog of the Week: Chihuahua is a Champ
He's just one of the pets up for adoption at the county's downtown center.
This week's adoptable dog is chihuahua, terrier mix.
The 8-pound neutered year-old male is playful once he gets to know oyu. He walks well on a leash and responds well to baby talk. He has been with Manatee County Animal Services since July 23. You can visit this little boy at the county's downtown adoption center today. During the month of August, dogs are available for $80 and cats for $60. Some animals are available for the $10 license fee. The downtown adoption center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health check, and microchip. The current rabies certificate/tag is $10. This Back-to-School adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
