Adoptable Dog of the Week: Molly is Loving
She's just one of the pets up for adoption at the county's downtown center.
This week's adoptable pet is Molly, a beautiful blue and white brindle Pit Bull.
Molly, a one year old spayed female, is in need of a loving home. She's a happy dog who loves attention and to be near people. She has been with Manatee County Animal Services since Jan. 14, when she was found as a stray. You can visit Molly at the county's downtown adoption center next week or at the Palmetto adoption center for Animal Services. The downtown center is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Palmetto location is open weekdays and also on Saturdays.
February is a great month to adopt. Manatee County Animal Services is offering a half-price special on all cats and dogs through February. Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, health check, microchip and current rabies certificate/tag. This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community.
