Aldi Hiring At Tampa Bay Area Locations

BRADENTON, FL — Tampa Bay area residents hoping to launch careers in the grocery industry may want to put a few dates on their calendars. Aldi has announced an upcoming series of hiring events meant to place people in open positions at stores in four counties across the region.

The grocery chain, which is known for offering competitive wages and benefits, is looking for people to fill positions at stores in Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, Palmetto, Sun City Center, Tampa, Haines City, Lakeland and Plant City.

The following hiring events have been announced:

• June 29 from 6 a.m. to noon at 4897 Sun City Center Blvd. in Sun City Center; hiring for all positions
• June 29 from 6 a.m. to noon at 4745 U.S. 98 in Lakeland; hiring for all positions
• June 30 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Comfort Suites, 5421 W. Waters Ave., Tampa; hiring store associate and shift manager positions
• July 5 from 6 to 10 a.m. at 3021 James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City; hiring for all positions
• July 6 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 605 10th St. E. in Palmetto; hiring for all positions
• July 6 from 6 a.m. to noon at 14939 N. Florida Ave. in Tampa; hiring for store associate and shift manager positions
• July 7 from 7 a.m. until noon at 35770 U.S. 27 S. in Haines City; hiring for all positions
• July 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 9021 U.S. 19 N. in Pinellas Park; hiring for all positions

Applicants must be at least 18 years or older to apply. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required. Applicants must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Mondays through Sundays. Retail experience is preferred. Employees must also be able to lift 45 pounds and be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Aldi employees who average more than 25 hours a week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage. The company also offers a 401 (k) program. Open positions pay as follows:

• Store associate - $12 an hour
• Shift manager - $16.50 an hour
• Manager trainee - $49,920 a year with an opportunity to earn $80,000 to $90,000 per year as a store manager.
