Arrest Made in Shooting Death at Bradenton Apartment

Jerry Green, 26, is charged with first-degree murder in an April 1 shooting death at Sheridan Place Apartments.

An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting death of a Bradenton man at an apartment complex last month, Bradenton Police reported Tuesday.

Jerry Green, 26, was arrested at around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday on an active warrant for first-degree murder in the April 1 shooting of Carlos A. Jurado. 

Jurado, 29, was was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds that evening at Sheridan Place Apartments, 302 26th Ave. W., police said.

Bradenton apartment complex Monday evening, police said.

Officers were called to Sheridan Place Apartments, 302 26th Ave. W., just before 6:30 p.m. Monday, where they found 29-year-old Carlos Alberto Jurado suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene, police said.

Green was taken into custody by Bradenton Police and the Manatee Homicide Investigative Unit.
