Attempted Murder At El Paisano’s Leads To Arrest
A man faces attempted murder charges after a Sunday night shooting at El Paisano's.

BRADENTON, FL — A 38-year-old man faces attempted murder charges after a dispute at El Paisano’s took a violent turn Sunday night.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, Mauro Ramirez and Jesus Martinez-Moreno, 21, got into a dispute at the establishment around 9:40 p.m. June 4. Ramirez is accused of punching Martinez-Moreno and then pulling out a gun and shooting him.

Deputies say a security guard was holding down Ramirez when they arrived.
Martinez-Moreno was taken to a local hospital following the shooting. He was in stable condition, the sheriff’s office said.

As for Ramirez, deputies charged him with attempted murder, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, giving a false name to law enforcement and battery.
The motive for the shooting was not known as of Monday morning. Ramirez was being held in the Manatee County Jail without bond Monday.
