Boil Water Advisory Extended In Bradenton: Officials
The Bradenton water treatment plant lost power over the weekend, causing citywide low water pressure, officials said.
BRADENTON, FL — A precautionary boil water advisory issued Sunday in Bradenton has been extended until Wednesday at 10 a.m., according to a news release from city officials.
The notice was issued after a storm knocked out power at the water treatment plant overnight Sunday, causing widespread low water pressure throughout the city.
The advisory’s extension is necessary due to sampling protocols set forth by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the city said.
