Bradenton Driver Dies When Cadillac Hits Building
The crash occurred in a Sarasota parking lot. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
A 49-year-old Bradenton man is dead after his Cadillac hit a building while in a parking lot at 6001 Business Blvd., Sarasota.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Randy J. Hedrick was driving his 2011 Cadillac CTS north in the small parking lot of the business complex, when his car struck a curb at 6009 Businvess Blvd.
Investigators said the driver then did a "U-turn type maneuver" in the parking lot, driving south. The car struck another curb at 6001 Business Blvd. The vehicle slammed into the north side of the building. Hedrick died at the scene.
