Bradenton Man Arrested on Murder Charges
The man is accused of killing his girlfriend in June. The woman's mother found her body.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Bradenton man on second degree murder charges in June.
Cornelius Baskin, 24, was arrested today on charges that he killed his girlfriend, Regina Nunez, 23, in her home at Bayshore on the Lakes Apartments, 4203 24th St W.
Nunez's mother found her on June 7 and called 9-1-1 after going to the apartment to check on her daughter who had not been answering the phone. Baskin was considered a suspect early in the investigation.

An autopsy revealed that Nunez was strangled to death.
Detectives arrested Baskin today without incident on charges of second degree murder.
