'I'll Kill You Easily,' Bradenton Man Told Former Employer: U.S. DOJ

The Bradenton man extorted and threatened to kill a former employer and his wife after being fired, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

BRADENTON, FL — A Bradenton man faces federal charges after extorting and threatening his former employer, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.

Jeffrey John Borho, 38, was charged with extortion by interstate communication and interstate communication of a threat to injure.

He was arrested July 19 and remains detained pending trial.

Borho was fired on July 1. Over the next several days, he made threatening phone calls and messages to his former employer.

In these messages, Borho threatened to kill the former employer and his wife if he didn’t pay $10,000, $20,000 and then $100,000, the DOJ said.

He also sent videos of himself threatening to harm his former employer, making statements including, “I’ll kill you easily” and “I don’t sue people, I kill people. And I get away with it every (expletive) time. Praise God, you’re on my time now.”
