A 40-year-old Bradenton man is dead following a Saturday night dispute on 33rd Avenue Drive East.

BRADENTON, FL — A 36-year-old Bradenton man faces second-degree murder charges after Manatee County deputies say a Saturday night dispute took a deadly turn.

According to the sheriff’s office, Roger Clinton, 40, and Tarance Gordon got into verbal dispute late Saturday night in the 600 block of 33rd Avenue East Drive. Clinton left following the dispute, an email from the sheriff’s office said, but returned a short time later.

After Clinton returned, deputies say Gordon approached Clinton with a shotgun and fired, hitting him at least once.
