Coquina Key Boat Ramp In Manatee County To Close For Repairs
With the work slated to begin March 21, county officials said the launch ramp and docks will be completely closed and fenced off.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Construction to expand and renovate the Coquina Key Boat Ramp on Gulf Drive South on Bradenton Beach is ready to begin.
According to county officials, contractors will close the facility on March 21.
The proposed improvements – designed to help meet the growing needs of users – have moved through the planning stage, with stakeholders taking part in a special survey to gauge the development design and scope, county officials said.

Due to the deconstruction and re-building processes, no part of the facility will be available for use by boaters – who are being invited to visit the Coquina North Boat Ramp located approximately a half-mile north at 1507 Gulf Drive South.
