Deputies Ask For Help In Identifying Robbery Suspect
The robber's photo was captured on surveillance video.
Manatee County deputies are releasing photos of a suspect who used a Taser to rob a Circle K on July 3, stealing just $50 and before using the Taser on the clerk.
Deputies are hoping someone will recognize the man in the photos and call them with information.
The man came into the store at 7502 55th Ave. E. wearing a purple bandana around his face. He went directly behind the counter and up to the store clerk and demanded the money in the register.

The clerk took the $50 in the resigster and put it in a Circle K bag and handed it to the suspect who took the money. Then for no apparent reason, the suspect tasered the clerk in the left hand, left forearm and left side. The clerk was not seriously injured during the robbery.
The suspect then ran out of the store. Deputies and a K-9 unit set up a perimeter but the suspect was not located.
