Deputies Investigate Attempted Armed Robbery
A Bradenton man had a knife pulled on him while riding his bike near US 301 early Saturday morning.
A Bradenton man was riding his bike west on 30th Avenue East near US 301 just after 1 a.m. Saturday when two unidentified males pulled a knife on him.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office report, one of the suspects allegedly pointed a folding knife at the victim.
At that point, the sheriff's office said the victim felt the men were attempting to rob him of his bike and he fled the scene.

The area was searched for the suspect(s) with negative results, authorities said. The report said the male suspect was between 5'10 - 6 feet tall with short hair and was wearing a light colored sweatshirt.
