Deputies Use Taser on Man, Find Crack Cocaine in Car
The 30-year-old tried to flee from deputies after they found him and a woman "attempting to conceal themselves" in the backseat of a car Wednesday in Bradenton.

A man was Tasered by deputies after he and a woman were found trying to hide in a car that had crack cocaine and marijuana inside its passenger compartment, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.
According to a sheriff's report, two deputies were responding to a car alarm that was going off in a parking lot at 3800 Lake Bayshore Dr. in Bradenton. "As they walked through the parking lot they noticed two people attempting to conceal themselves in the backseat of a Nissan Altima," the the report states. As the deputies approached the car they smelled the odor of burning marijuana.
The two people inside were asked to exit the vehicle. Soon after, one of them, identified as 30-year-old Marco Luckett, "became nervous and attempted to get back into the car," the sheriff's report said. Luckett was removed from the car and then fled on foot before deputies chased him down and deployed an electronic control device to apprehend him.

During a search of the car, deputies said they found 3 grams of crack cocaine and 7.7 grams of marijuana in the passenger compartment.
Luckett was being held in Manatee County Jail on $3,000 bond, according to online records.

The woman who was with him, who was not identified, was not charged, according to the sheriff's report.
