Do You Have Unclaimed Money? Check With The Manatee County Clerk
There is nearly $60,000 in unclaimed funds listed by the Manatee County Clerk & Comptroller's office this year. The deadline is approaching.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — The deadline to request unclaimed funds from the Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller is quickly approaching.
This year’s list of unclaimed money totals $58,888.27, and includes funds related to court-related activities, such as jury service, overpaid court fees, court registry, and vendor payments, the office said in a news release.

Those who find money that is owed to them will need to file a notarized written claim or court motion with the clerk’s office.
The deadline to file a claim is Sept. 1. Any money not claimed by this date will be declared forfeited and transferred to the fine and forfeiture fund under Florida law.
