Doctors Can't Re-Attach Boy's Pinky Finger Bitten Off by Family Dog
The Bradenton Herald reports more details about the Friday incident involving a caged family dog.

Doctors were unable to re-attach a Bradenton boy's finger that was bitten off by a family dog, the Bradenton Herald reports.
Eleven-year-old Fernando Brignoni had his pinky finger bitten off after he stuck his hand through the dog's cage to pet it at his family's 22nd Street Court East home Friday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's office.
The boy's father, 41-year-old Luis Brignoni, then shot and killed the dog, a Malamute-wolf mix named Sassy, and cut its stomach open to retrieve the finger, the Herald reports.
