Domestic Battery Suspect May Be Suicidal, Sheriff Says
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is looking for Bruce R. Nolet, accused of choking the mother of his child Thursday in Bradenton.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of choking a woman and who they say may be suicidal.
Bruce R. Nolet, 30, allegedly got into a domestic dispute with the mother of his child early Thursday morning in Bradenton. The two don't live together, but Nolet is accused of entering the woman's residence in the 500 block of 67th Ave. W. at about 3:40 a.m. and initiating a dispute that turned physical.
According to a sheriff's report, Nolet threw the woman down on the bed and began choking her from behind.

A neighbor heard the disturbance, deputies said, and entered the residence, stopping the attack. While fleeing the scene in his vehicle, Nolet hit an unoccupied vehicle in the driveway, according to the sheriff's office.
"The suspect has made threats to harm himself," a sheriff's spokesperson said in a media release.
