Double Shooting Under Investigation In Parrish

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Wednesday morning incident that left two people injured with gunshot wounds.

PARRISH, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early Wednesday morning incident that resulted in two people being hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

According to the agency, deputies received a call just before 5 a.m. July 5 about a robbery in progress in the 16200 block of County Road 675 in Parrish. While on the way to the call, deputies spotted a possible suspect vehicle, an email from the agency said.

The vehicle stopped on Rye Road. Deputies say they found two people inside suffering from gunshot wounds. Ramin Fard, 49, and Jamia Gadeaun, 40, were both taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Deputies say Fard and Gadeaun are married, but estranged. Jamia Gadeaun does not live at the home where the incident occurred.

Details about the condition of the two are not readily available. Deputies say the shootings remain under investigation with no arrests made or suspect information released. Details that led up to the shootings remain unclear, the sheriff’s office said.
