Driver Found Dead in Car Sitting on Bradenton Street

Bradenton Police found a person shot to death at the wheel of a car sitting in the middle of the 24th Street East early this morning, according to a Bradenton Police report.

Police were responding to a report of gun shots at 2:30 a.m. when they found the car and its driver already dead in the 600 block of 24th Street East. Detectives are still working to verify the victim's identity.

Detectives are investigating the case as a homicide. They are looking for information about the shooting and any possible suspects.
