DUI Wolfpack to Prowl in Manatee

The Florida Highway Patrol is planning a DUI Wolfpack in Manatee County, targeting impaired drivers.

The Florida Highway Patrol is not disclosing just yet the exact date, time or location of its next DUI Wolfpack Detail – only that it will take place in June. Manatee County is the targeted area.

Drivers, nevertheless, should heed the warnings in advance from the FHP, which plans to pull over motorists who are driving under the influence.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol: "Troopers conducting the detail will be mobile while monitoring traffic in an effort to maximize their visibility and effectiveness in removing impaired drivers from the roadways in Manatee County, Florida"

Florida law considers a driver with .08 or higher Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) to be impaired.

Drivers under the age of 21 with a BAC of .02 or higher are also in violation of Florida law.
