DUI Wolfpack Scheduled for Manatee – What Drivers Should Know
State troopers will be targeting impaired drivers on the following dates in Manatee County. No one should drive drunk. Here are the details.

Motorists arrested for drunken driving will be the ones howling, when the Florida Highway Patrol unleashes another DUI Wolfpack Detail in Manatee County this weekend.
Troopers will target impaired drivers from 8 p.m., Friday, June 14, to 4 a.m., Saturday, June 15.
The FHP is not disclosing where it will concentrate troopers. That would be too much of a giveaway.

According to the FHP: "Troopers will be mobile while monitoring traffic in an effort to maximize their visibility and effectiveness in removing impaired drivers from the roadways in Manatee County, Florida"
There will be no identified checkpoints for drivers to try to avoid. Instead, troopers will be out in force, targeting impaired and aggressive drivers. One second drivers will be motoring along the highway, and the next moment flashing lights will be approaching fast in the rear view mirror. No one wants to contend with that.

The FHP warns that driving impaired from alcohol or drugs puts everyone on the road at risk.
Florida law considers a driver with .08 or higher Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) to be impaired. Drivers under the age of 21 with a BAC of .02 or higher are also in violation of Florida law.
