Florida Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Her Student
A 31-year-old teacher from Bradenton was accused of having sex with her teenage student on multiple occasions.

BRADENTON, FL — A 31-year-old former teacher from Bradenton was accused Monday of having sex with her teenage student on multiple occasions, according to the Bradenton Police Department. Kassandra Moore is facing four counts of lewd and lascivious battery and one count of transmission of harmful material to a minor.
Moore, who was a teacher at The Broach School at the time, allegedly sent revealing selfies of herself to the student in which she was wearing lingerie and posed in a sexual manner while exposing herself, police said.
Bradenton police said the issue was first brought to their attention on April 10 through a complaint from the Broach School in Bradenton. Detective Michael Page was given a printed copy of Instagram chats between Moore and a 15-year-old student.

"The student then informed Detective Page that he and Moore arranged to meet at G.T. Bray Park on numerous occasions and engaged in sexual intercourse. The teen turned over several "lewd" screenshots of selfies that Moore allegedly sent him, according to police.
The Broach School was created in 1973 to help students who were getting lost in overcrowded classrooms. The school where Moore worked is owned and operated by non-profit Children’s Educational Services.

In a statement sent to Patch, Children’s Educational Services' President Rick Wead said school officials are "deeply saddened" by the allegations against Moore.
"Once we were notified of the allegations, we immediately reported them to the appropriate authorities and the teacher was terminated," the statement said. "All employees of CES are thoroughly vetted and complete a thorough FDLE background screening prior to employment."
Wead added that the organization takes the allegations" very seriously" and is assisting with the investigation.
Police said Moore allegedly attempted to cover her tracks by reaching out to another teacher as well as a former student.
"Further investigation found that Moore attempted to retain assistance from another teacher at The Broach School to serve as an alibi for her actions," Bradenton police said. "She also contacted a former student to see if it was possible to delete messages and images from another person's password-locked cell phone."
