High Water Closes Manatee County Roads
TS Debby continues to wreak havoc on traffic patterns
Tropical Storm Debby's rains have filled ditches and pushed area rivers and creeks beyond their banks prompting several road closures in Manatee County.
The two most recent closures are where County Road 675 (also known as Rutland Road) meets Jim Davis Road. A portion of Jim Davis Road between County Road 675 and Golf Course Road is also underwater.
County officials closed Upper Manatee River Road west of Rye Road on Monday because the river had breached its banks.
