The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for help to find the driver of a grey car involved in a hit and run accident Friday afternoon near Fifth Street and 30th Avenue East in Bradenton.
Carlos A. Ramirez, 45, and his 13-year-old daughter were headed westbound on 30th Avenue East in a 2005 Chevy Venture at 3:08 p.m., according to investigators.
A grey car driving northbound on Fifth Street East stopped at the stop sign before turning left onto 30th Avenue when an unknown piece of the vehicle hit the left rear area of Ramirez's car.

The driver of the grey car, an older white man in his sixties, left before Florida Highway Patrol arrived. The car was last seen headed east on 30th Avenue East.
