Liquid Methadone, Xanax, Guns Seized From Bradenton Home

Two people face criminal charges following the Wednesday search of a Bradenton home.

BRADENTON, FL — An investigation into possible drug activity at a home in the 800 block of 28th Street Circle East led to the arrest of two people on Wednesday.

According to the Bradenton Police Department, officers served a search warrant at the home on Dec. 21 after completing a one-month investigation. The search turned up marijuana that was packaged for sale, liquid methadone, Xanax, cash, two handguns, one rifle and drug paraphernalia, the agency noted in an email to media.

Two residents of the home were arrested following the search. They are:

Brandon William Reese, 33, of Bradenton

  • Charges: possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a child care facility, possession of Xanax, possession of liquid methadone and possession of drug paraphernalia

Jessica Michelle Dort, 26, of Bradenton

  • Charges: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

The arrests were announced Thursday. No further information is being released at this time.
