Look for the Patch RV Around Town This Week

Patch is stepping up its effort to get folks to , which serves the Manatee County Food Bank and others throughout the region.

We're bringing in a 31-foot Patch RV to events throughout Manatee County where you can donate canned goods and other non-perishable food items, and for doing so we're giving away some awesome prizes in our raffles. (By the way, we're still putting the finishing touches on this monster. The RV pictured is similar but smaller.)

Here are just three of the events we have planned so far:

• Patch No-Kill Adopt-a-thon April 26 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at . Patch will offer adoption specials during the event, get a free water bottle with adoption, get your photo taken with your new dog or cat, a trainer will be on hand to offer training tips. Donate canned good/non-perishible food (for the food bank) or dog or cat food for animal services and be entered in a drawing to win a $25 gift card to PetSmart.

• Keeton's Best Customer Service and Passionate Patchers Blowout April 27 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at . Donate canned good/non-perishibile food and be entered to win a $25 gift card from Keeton's. Sign-up for the Patch newsletter or start blogging for Patch and receive Patch Prizes. Free hotdogs and sodas during the event.

• De Soto Grand Parade 3 to 8 p.m. from Manatee High School to downtown Bradenton. Stop by the Patch RV at the staging area to meet the Patch team. KEeton's award winning staff will also participate in the parade. Bring canned good/non-perishibile food to donate or sign up for Patch newsletter and win Patch prozes. 

Even if you don't win, you'll help out a great cause, plus we're still giving away some awesome Patch swag at these events.
