Man Charged with Lewd Act At School Bus Stop

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 25-year-old man on charges of lewd and lascivious exhibition after he was identified as the man who pulled up to a school bus stop and fodled himself in front of a teenage girl.

Broderick Cameron Furlow was taken to jail after the teenager identified him from a photo line-up.

 The 16-year-old girls was waiting at the bus stop in the 1200 block of 26th Avenue West last week when a man pulled up to the bus stop "performing a lewd act." The teenager reported the incident when she got to school.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office arranged a photo line-up and the girl identified the man she saw at the bus stop. Detectives went to Furlow's residencen and after further investigation arrested him, according to a sheriff's report.

Furlow has been arrested in the past on charges of indecent exposure, according to Sarasota County Court records.
