Man Steals Clothes From Bealls With Threatening Note

A man wearing a baseball cap handed a threatening note to a Bealls employee and escaped with a large amount of merchandise.

BRADENTON, FL — A man wearing a baseball cap handed a Bealls Outlet employee a threatening note Tuesday and escaped with a large amount of merchandise, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The incident occurred around 9:35 a.m. at the Bealls located at 4902 Cortez Road West.

"A white male came to the cash register with a large amount of clothing to purchase," said Bradenton police. "When the cashier gave the total amount due, the suspect produced a handwritten note demanding money, implying he had a firearm."
