Manatee High Coach Inquiry Moves to AG's Office

The State Attorney's Office will review the findings of a criminal investigation against Rod Frazier, an assistant football coach, according to media reports.

More than 50 police interviews with teachers and students are part of an extensive criminal investigation into allegations of misconduct against a Manatee High School assistant football coach.

Now that criminal investigation will be reviewed by the State Attorney's Office, the Sarasota Herald Tribune reports.

It will be up to the State Attorney's Office to decide whether to bring charges against Rod Frazier for alleged misconduct with female students.

Frazier has been on paid leave since Feb. 8, after the police investigation was launched.

According to the Sarasota Herald Tribune:

"The police began investigating after allegations surfaced that Frazier had groped a girl, sent inappropriate text messages to students and was seen with girls sitting in his lap in his office at school."

Bradenton Police Chief Michael Radzilowski told the Herald Tribune that detectives have met with prosecutors.
