Police: Man Shot, Killed While Walking at Bradenton Apartments

Police found 29-year-old Carlos Alberto Jurado suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside Sheridan Place Apartments on Monday.

A man was shot and killed while walking outside a Bradenton apartment complex Monday evening, police said.

Officers were called to Sheridan Place Apartments, 302 26th Ave. W., just before 6:30 p.m. Monday, where they found 29-year-old Carlos Alberto Jurado suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene, police said.

Jurado was walking when an unknown suspect or suspects discharged an unknown caliber firearm, police spokesperson Capt. Warren T. Merriman III said in a media release.

No further information was immediately available. Merriman said. The Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit is looking into the incident.
