'Rusty Shotguns' Used in 7-Eleven Robbery
The two suspects, who covered their faces with bandanas, demanded cash and cigarettes.
A 7-Eleven store was robbed at gunpoint at about 1:30 a.m. Friday by two suspects who demanded cash and cigarettes.
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the pair of suspects entered the 7-Eleven at 8604 Cortez Rd. West armed with "rusty shotguns." One of the suspects also had a silver pistol in the other hand.
Both suspects were wearing gloves, black shirts, blue jeans and had bandannas covering their faces.

The suspects ordered the two clerks to fill a bag with cash from the register. One of the suspects struck one of the clerks in the head with a gun barrel. The suspects also demanded cigarettes, taking several cartons.
