Soon You Will Dial 3-1-1 To Report Your Neighbor's Wild Party

It's about to get a lot easier in Manatee County ​to report a neighbor's wild party or a pothole that knocks your car out of alignment.

BRADENTON, FL — It's about to get a lot easier in Manatee County to report a neighbor's wild party or a pothole that knocks your car out of alignment.

"Contacting Manatee County for non-emergency help will become easier than ever before on March 11 when 10 unique county information and request lines will be consolidated into one," Manatee County officials announced Wednesday.

Officials said the county's new One Call Resolution Center will open for business at 3:11 p.m. on March 11, which can also be written as 3-11.

"Anyone who dials 3-1-1 inside Manatee County will be able to report potholes and noise complaints, or just to get county information on local elected officials or flood zones," officials said. "County information and request lines receive approximately 13,000 calls a month."

The service will eventually be expanded to replace all 16 existing county service lines.

"This service will allow us to quickly and efficiently handle citizens needs while providing feedback along the way," Public Safety Director Jacob Saur. "From potholes to complaints, citizens no longer need to know who to call. Just dial 3-1-1 and we will help you."

Callers will still be able to speak to county staff at their phone extensions. Anyone in Manatee County with an emergency should continue to call 9-1-1.

To access the service online, visit the Manatee 311 web portal. A smartphone app will also be available for iPhones and Androids.
