UPDATED: Two Bodies Found in Pride Park Duplex
Detectives are treating the deaths as homicides.
Manatee County Deputies were called out at 11:30 a.m. today to a duplex in the 600 block of 61st Avenue Terrace East, where they found the bodies of two men.
Detectives are treating the case as a homicide. One of the men has been identified as Adrian Velasquez Baca, 43. Authorities have identified the second man, who was 55, but are not releasing his name until his next of kin have been notified. The victims were roommates.
Deputies were called out to the duplex after one of the men hadn't shown up for work for two days and had not been seen since Saturday. His employer called the sheriff's office, and when deputies arrived they looked through the window and saw one of the bodies, Bristow said.
