A Monday morning home invasion in Lakewood Ranch has led to the arrest of two men, including one of the victims.

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early Monday morning home invasion robbery in Lakewood Ranch. While one of the suspects and a victim were arrested after the incident, deputies say three assailants have eluded capture.

According to the sheriff’s office, the incident began to unfold just before 3:30 a.m. June 19 in the 13500 block of Glossy Ibis Place. Eight people were inside a home when four “suspects armed with long guns” walked in through an unlocked back sliding-glass door, an email from the sheriff's office said.
