Youth Soccer Coordinator Arrested on Molestation Charges
Bradenton Police are asking parents to come forward if they believe one of their children may have been a victim.

The Bradenton Police department arrested a 23-year old man who worked with a youth soccer league on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation involving a 6-year-old boy.
Aaron M. Brooks, who was arrested today, told Bradenton police that he was was possessed by demons when he molested the child and that molesting the boy made him feel “good,” and satisfied, according to a Bradenton police report.
Bradenton police detectives, who began their investigation over the weekend, are asking that parents come forward if they believe Brooks may have had contact with their child. Brooks is employed by “I 9 Sports” as the Youth Soccer Coordinator in Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, and had access to more than 600 children.

Brooks was charged with one count of lewd or lascivious molestation on a child less than 12 years old, a felony offense that can lead to a life sentence. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of 16th St. West, according to the police report.
When Detective Leonel Marines first approached him, Brooks denied touching the victim’s genitals. But Brooks later met with the victim’s mother and admitted that he touched the victim once for approximately thirty seconds, according to the police report.
