1. 4 injured in crash between ambulance, Tesla at Florida intersection (wfla.com) — Four people were hospitalized after an ambulance and a Tesla collided Friday near Crystal Drive and Metro Parkway in Fort Myers, prompting a trauma alert for the Tesla driver. South Trail Fire and Rescue reported two additional crashes at the same intersection that day and urged drivers to follow Florida’s Move Over Law to better protect first responders working on local roads.
   

2. One dead after fatal crash on Colonial Boulevard overnight (naplesnews.com) — Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers has reopened after an overnight crash that left one person dead and shut down all lanes at Colonial and Lee Boulevard until about 7 a.m. Saturday. Fort Myers police are still investigating, and new details will be released as records become available, amid a year of thousands of crashes and nearly 100 traffic deaths in Lee County.

Local advocate Tara Boyd, displaced from Fort Myers Beach, says many survivors still live in state trailers after being denied FEMA aid, and the group plans meetings with Rep. Byron Donalds’ and Sen. Rick Scott’s offices.
