Knitting and Native Plants: The Best of the Lutz Library's May Programming

Looking for free entertainment and information? Don't overlook the local library.

The best things in life are free, and that old adage certainly rings true when it comes to the Lutz Library.

We perused the facility’s calendar of events. Here’s what we consider to be the top five highlights for May.

  • Master Gardener: Native Plants: What to know what native plants are best for your landscaping? Then this event is for you! May 13, 6:30 p.m.
  • Knitting at the Depot: Both beginners and advanced knitters will come together to knit caps and lapghans for local hospitals. May 14, 6 p.m.
  • Chair yoga: Looking for a slow-movement, easy-going intro to the world of yoga? If so, this event may be just right for you. Lucky Cat Yoga instructors will conduct a half-hour session on chair yoga. Suitable for beginners and intermediate students. Wear comfortable clothing. May 15, 10:30 a.m.
  • Library Website: Learn about all of the new features. May 18, 10:30 a.m.

The Lutz branch of the library is at 101 W. Lutz-Lake Fern Road. The phone number is 813-273-3652.
