14-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing In Miami-Dade

MIAMI, FL — A 14-year-old girl has been reported missing in northwest Miami-Dade County. Melissa Artigas was last seen in the 6900 block of NW 179 Street on May 25.

"The Miami-Dade Police Department, Special Victims Bureau detectives are asking the assistance of the community in locating the missing 14-year old juvenile who left her residence and has not returned," said Detective Lee Cowart of the agency Tuesday. Artigas may need services.

She is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, 97 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black and white shorts with flip flops.
