16-Year-Old Boy Killed In Northwest Miami-Dade
The boy's attacker fled the scene in northwest Miami-Dade and remained at large as of early Saturday morning.

MIAMI, FL — A 16-year-old boy was gunned down in Northwest Miami-Dade on Friday night and police continue to search for his attacker. The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. First responders from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced the boy dead at the scene in the 8100 block of NW 14 Avenue.
"According to investigators, a 9-1-1 call was received in the area of NW 81 Street and NW 14th Avenue to reports of a person shot," Detective Argemis Coleme of the Miami-Dade Police Department said. "Officers from the Northside District responded to the scene, and located a male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds."
Colome said that the boy's attacker fled the scene and remained at large as of early Saturday morning. It was the second shooting involving a teenager in as many days.

"This is the second one back to back. They do not appear to be related however we need to get anybody that has any information on these type of cases," Colome told reporters at the scene. "These are our kids. It could be your kid. It could be my kid, only 16 years old."
