2 Jackpot-Winning FL Lottery Tickets Sold At Same Publix 2 Months Apart

The same South Florida Publix sold two Fantasy 5 jackpot-winning tickets just two months apart, Florida Lottery said.

BOYNTON BEACH — Two Fantasy 5 jackpot-winning tickets were sold at the same South Florida Publix within a two-month period, the Miami Herald initially reported.

The winner in Sunday’s mid-day drawing at the grocery store at 4770 N. Congress Ave. won about $53,000, Florida Lottery said. The ticket was unclaimed as of Monday afternoon.

The winning numbers in that drawing were 1, 2, 10, 11, 26

A Delray Beach resident, Jean Saintil, also purchased a jackpot-winning ticket at the same Publix, winning about $129,000 in the May 10 evening drawing, according to Florida Lottery.

The winning numbers that day were 17, 21, 25, 27 and 31.

Drawings take place daily at 1:05 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Ticket sales end at 12:45 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. ahead of each drawing, respectively.

To claim a winning ticket worth $600 to $1 million, go to Florida Lottery’s Tallahassee headquarters or stop by one of the state’s district offices.

Prizes greater than $1 million or that have an annual payment option must be claimed in Tallahassee, except for Mega Millions and Powerball prizes of $600 to $1 million.
