2 Miami Beach Banks Robbed On Same Day

Miami Beach police and the FBI are searching for a man who is suspected in two separate Miami Beach bank robberies.

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach police and the FBI are searching for a man who is suspected in two separate Miami Beach bank robberies that took place Friday morning.

With limited access in an out of this urban resort town, bank robberies tend to be much less common in Miami Beach than on the mainland.

That was not the case Friday as the bandit struck the Regions Bank first at 780 Arthur Godfrey Rd. before turning his attention to an Ocean Bank two hours later at 501 W. 41 Street around 11:07 a.m.
