3 People Rescued From Miami School

MIAMI, FL — Miami firefighters rescued three workers from a Miami school Friday after the workers were seen dangling from a scaffold.

The incident happened at iPrep Academy, a non-attendance boundary international education and global focus magnet school that incorporates innovative teaching strategies in a technology-rich environment, according to the school website.

Captain Ignatius Carroll of Miami Fire Rescue said that the department's technical rescue team was also sent out to the school but that firefighters performed the rescue using a conventional ladder truck.

iPrep is located at 1500 Biscayne Boulevard.
