38-Year-Old Man Shot To Death In Little Havana
Pedro Lazaro Blanco suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the 700 block of NW 1 Street.

MIAMI, FL — A 38-year-0ld man was found shot to death early Tuesday morning in the Little Havana section of the city. Pedro Lazaro Blanco suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to Miami police. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. in the 700 block of NW 1 Street.
"According to investigators, patrol units were in the 700 block of NW 1 Street regarding an unrelated 9-1-1 call," explained Officer Chris Bess of the Miami Police Department. "While handling the call, officers heard gun shots being fired in the area. The officers immediately canvassed the block in an attempt to locate a crime scene, at which point in time, they discovered an unresponsive adult male who appeared to have been suffering from multiple gunshot wounds."
Blanco was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders from Miami Fire Rescue, according to Bess.

Flowers and a stuffed animal could be seen later in the day on the spot where Blanco's body was discovered.
