Boy Robbed At Gunpoint; Police Need Help To Solve Case
The robbery occurred around 3 p.m. on Dec. 12 at NW 13 Place and 38 Street

MIAMI, FL — Miami Police are looking for two thugs that robbed a boy at gunpoint on his way home from school. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Dec. 12 at NW 13 Place and 38 Street. The thieves got away with the boy's cell phone and forced him to share his password.
"According to detectives, the victim was walking home from school when he was confronted by two black males," explained Officer Michael Vega of the Miami Police Department on Tuesday. Police also released surveillance video of the robbery (watch below).
Vega said that one of the men pulled out a small handgun and "wrapped his arm around the victim's neck and shoulder" while demanding that the boy empty his pockets. The other man grabbed the boy's book bag and began rifling through it.

"The suspects made the victim walk at gun point to NW 14 Avenue and 37 Street where they ordered the victim to face east as they fled from the scene," Vega said.
Both of the men are described as African-American, light skinned and about 17 to 19 years of age. One was about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with gold plated canine teeth, clean shaved and last seen wearing a blue hoodie jacket with light-colored jogging pants.

The other was approximately 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 3 inches tall, clean shaven with a fade haircut and last seen wearing black jeans and a gray hoodie.
