Here are the top stories today in Miami:

1. A new brewery and restaurant called Off Site has been announced by Steve Santana of Taquiza and Adam Darnell of Boxelder. The restaurant will focus on American-style cuisine including house-smoked wings, extra large hot dogs, and Santana’s popular "Super Good Chicken Sandwich." (Eater Miami)

2. A woman who was in her early 70s has died after she was struck by a Brightline train in Fort Lauderdale on Monday morning. The incident occurred around 8 a.m. at the railroad crossing at 100 Northwest 6th Street. (NBC Miami)

3. Mary J. Blige, H.E.R., Rick Ross and the Isley Brothers are set to headline Jazz in the Gardens, Miami Gardens' mega jazz and R&B music festival, in March of 2022. Other stars on the list include SWV, The Roots with special guest T-Pain, Stokely, Jonathan McReynolds, Mike Phillips and Mark Allen Felton. (Miami Times)

4. Virgin Voyages' Scarlet Lady is making its grand debut in Miami. The ship offers over 20 eateries on board ranging from Michelin-starred menus to Korean barbecue at sea, wellness programming, and an adult-only experience. The inaugural season will sail through the Caribbean and Mexico. All guests will be tested for COVID-19 prior to boarding, paid for by the brand for the safest experience possible. (Ocean Drive)

5. Michael Bentolila is Aventura's fourth Chief of Police. Bonilla joined the Aventura Police Department in 1997, soon after it was created. He is succeeding Bryan Pegues, who is now working as Aventura Deputy City Manager. (Miami's Community News)
