1. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed four special session bills aiming to combat COVID-19 vaccine mandates at car dealership, Brandon Honda, on Thursday. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo, and others joined DeSantis in bashing vaccine mandates and calling for "freedom." (Click Orlando)

2. Curley’s restaurant in Opa-Locka in trouble due to having no record with Miami-Dade county, yet has been in operation since 1990. The county says they never approved the restaurant's fats oil and grease system, or grease trap, that has been working since Curley's opened. A GoFundMe page has been started to help pay the fees that could close the local business. (WSVN)
3. Vaccine Access: Miami-Dade County is offering the COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 12 years at seven of the regular county-run vaccination sites. The county and NOMI are also working with Miami-Dade County Public Schools to bring weekly pop-ups to elementary schools across the community. (Miami Patch)
4. A 91-year-old resident of a senior living facility was struck by a stray bullet after an argument between carnival workers near the site of the Broward County Fair led to gunfire on Thursday morning, according to authorities. The resident was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect, 40-year-old Brandon Craig, is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, battery and carrying a concealed weapon. (NBC Miami)
5. A man’s body was found Thursday morning on Fort Lauderdale beach. Investigators do not suspect foul play in the man’s death and an investigation is currently underway. (CBS Miami)
