1. Julia & Henry's Food Hall is set to open at an historic building in downtown Miami in early 2022. The venue name pays homage to Julia Tuttle, "Mother of Miami", and Henry Flagler. The food hall will offer lunch, happy hour, and dinner from top local chefs including José Mendín and Michelle Bernstein. (Miami New Times)

2. 3 Miami Beach police officers are facing felony charges in connection with the rough arrest of a 24-year-old man earlier this summer. Prosecutors say officers took turns striking and kicking the victim when he was already handcuffed. (WPLG Local 10)

3. Hundreds of protesters gathered Wednesday in Northwest Miami-Dade in support of the Haitian migrants at the U.S. border after disturbing images appeared online of treatment at the border. They are demanding better treatment for Haitians and that the migrants be allowed to stay in the United States. (WSVN)

4. Joining the race: Miami has confirmed a date for the inaugural F1 grand prix in 2022 at Miami International Autodrome located next to Hard Rock Stadium on May 8th, 2022. It will be the first of two races to take place in the United States next year. (Motorsport.com)

5. Swim advisories have been issued at four different Miami-Dade beaches including Haulover Beach South, Haulover Beach North, 53rd Street - Miami Beach, and North Shore Ocean Terrace (73rd Street) - Miami Beach. Samples exceeded the state and federal recommended standard for enterococci bacteria. (NBC Miami)
