22-Year-Old Slain In Miami

MIAMI, FL — A 22-year-old Miami man died Thursday night after being shot multiple times. The incident occurred in the 6400 block of NW 12 Avenue, according to Officer Christopher Bess of the Miami Police Department. Bess said that the victim was pronounced dead at Ryder Trauma Center of Jackson Memorial Hospital shortly after his arrival.

He was later identified as Michael L. Greene, but police said they were still unable to determine a motive as of Friday.

"Upon arrival, units were notified via a 9-1-1 call that the victim, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center by an unknown vehicle," Bess explained.

The shooting occurred at 9:09 p.m.
